The architecture is a superb fusion of Moorish and modern. The staff were efficient and friendly. The central loction is a boon.
The restored courtyard house is charming. The young man who was at reception (who is half English) was delightful and very helpful, thanks to him we had some great dining experiences and a good flamenco show.
On the downside, the rooms tended to be airless and got so warm that we needed to turn on the AC when it was 10C outside.
Good location. Easy walk through Barrio Santa Cruz to main attractions.Excellent tapas bars nearby including El Rinconello (one of oldest in Seville). Stylish rooms.
Stylish rooms lacked functionality and high noise from adjacent rooms. Breakfast at !8.4 euros was expensive for quality, choice and service.
This hotel fine but the decor is cold and souless (as was the receptionist) and frankly this makes the experience like a holiday in a funeral home. Business travel only I would suggest.
The room was spacious, clean and cool. The staff were helpful. We could pull in right next to the hotel to drop our bags. It was quite attractive and not too far from the town centre.
It was very difficult to find and driving in Seville was a nightmare and we had to pay for parking. The bathroom was dark, and badly decorated (in black). In our room the water from the shower leaked everywhere and made it damp. The laundry service was very expensive but efficient.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, very good location in center of Sevilla
Pitty that there was no real restaurant (although the food was fine - choice being somewhat limited). Rather dark rooms, due to the structure of the (nice) building.
Spacious comparing with other hotels we stayed in Spain.
The staff did try to help but with wrong information. The room is dusty but overall it's an ok hotel
All staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the city. Hotel is in a very central location, it's extremely clean & the building itself is lovely and quite small, giving it a cosy, homely feel. Rooftop pool, although small, is a welcome break from the Seville heat and a nice addition.
1. Closeness to city center 2. Clean, comfortable, quiet 3. Wireless network 4. Helpful staff 5. Affordable, especially given the location.
1.Not many electrical connections for recharging electronic devices. 2. The room is very dark at night ... normally a good thing, but there should be a night light in the bathroom so we can find our way there at night.
- Modern room design
- Bathroom wasnt realy clean.
This hotel was a fantastic stay. The rooms and the design of the hotel are great.
The breakfast was a bit expensive.
Staff was quite nice, location close to the centre.
Wi-Fi did not work in the room, bathroom needs an urgent refurbishment, rooms towards the streets are very noisy!
The smell of the bedroom, the noise coming from the other rooms and the price of the breakfast.
Historic building with award-nominated design. Very comfortable room with good aircon. Good staff service. Close to the main tourist sites. Ample parking close by. Second stay in 3 months - will stay here again and would recommend to others. Top Tips : Take a right out of the hotel, down Calle Imagen, under the iconic Metropol Parasol, and take a left down Calle Sierpes to get to the main tourist sites. Visit the Treasury, Giralda, and Royal Chapel at the Cathedral. Don't miss the Alcazar!
As a historic building, the courtyard has an open roof and during a heavy downpour (rare!) water will make the marble steps and corridors quite slippy esp. if you're wearing trainers so care is needed!
Excellent location for exploring Seville by foot / bus
